Shadi Ghadirian (b 1974) is an Iranian artist based in Tehran, working predominently with photography.

Shadi has exhibited her works since 1998. The most important solo exhibitions are: Golestan Gallery and SilkRoad Gallery in Iran; Aeroplastics Contemporary, Brussels; Co2 Gallery, Rome; Baudoin Lebon Gallery, Paris; Guild Art Gallery, Mumbai; Villa Moda, Kuwait; Los Angeles County Museum of Art, USA.

The artist also has had several group exhibitions among which are Saatchi Gallery in London, Centre Georges Pompidou in Paris, Musée du Quai Branly in Paris, Photo Biennale of Moscow,  CCCB in Barcelona, Barbican Art Center in London, The British Museum, London, DCCD, Copenhagen, Denmark, The Museum of Islamic Art (MIA), Doha, Qatar, and Venice Biennale 2015.

Her work is in several international collections including: The British Museum, Mumok, Centre Georges Pompidou, Los Angeles County Museum of Art, The Smithsonian Museum, Victoria and Albert Museum, British Museum, and Tehran Museum of Contemporary Art.
