YAO YAO

YAO Yao (b.1987) is a photographer and editor based in Shanghai. She received her Master of Arts from Fudan University and Bachelor of Law from Sociology department of East China Normal University. During 2011 to 2012, she studied in Sciences Po Lille, France (Erasmus). YAO writes about photography exhibition and body of works and interviews with photographer artist all over the world. Her articles are published in Chinese Photography, China Life Magazine and many others. YAO’s first solo show was held at The Mix Place in 2016, and then opened her namesake solo show "YAO Yao" at IG Art Gallery in 2017.
