Diana Taylor (U.K) is a visual artist working with painting and print. She lives and works in East London. She graduated in 2010 with an M.F.A in Painting from the Slade School of Fine Art. The images and processes in her work are linked by a pre-occupation with redundancy, failure and the ruin in visual culture, exploring the impermanence of all things. In 2011 Taylor was awarded the Abbey Scholarship in Painting at the British School at Rome, and was artist in residence at East London Printmakers. In 2015 Taylor was shortlisted for the ‘Dazed X Converse’ Emerging Art Award. She was artist in residence at Modern Art Oxford in response to the show Love is Enough showcasing works by Andy Warhol and William Morris, curated by Jeremy Deller.  In the same year she was commissioned by the Royal Academy of Arts to create architectural hoardings on Burlington Arcade.  Recent group shows include Screen at Turps Gallery, London, and Collaborators4 at ROOM, London.
