Mouhammad Mouselli (Syria, 1989) is a Berlin-based painter who works with paper and various mixed media including ink, watercolor, pencil, charcoal, pastel, and acrylic paint. Mouselli's paintings show an aptitude for blurred, anthropomorphic renderings of landscapes; the curve of a hill merges into an outreached human arm as the sun pulses red overhead. A young force in the abstract arts, Mouselli's primary showing to date has been at his graduation exhibition at Damascus University.
