IDA ASLANIAN

Ida Aslanian is an Iranian artist and graduate of the School of Fine Arts in Geneva. Her paintings and drawings are brilliantly overcast, inviting viewers to take a closer look in order to discern the details - at their own risk of falling in. Even when her subject is given relative clarity, the overall effect of her pictures is heavily obfuscated, as though these worlds are only an imitation of an objective one. We've featured a number of her Untitled pictures from 1993 - 2013 here at Collectionair.
