"Gfeller + Hellsgård's artists' books have been acquired by the Museum of Modern Art, the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art, Harvard University's Fine Art library, the Art Institute of Chicago and Yale University "Art of the Book" Collection. "

Monoprint is a form of printmaking where the image can only be made once, unlike most printmaking which allows for multiple originals. Also known as the most painterly method among the printmaking techniques, a monoprint is essentially a printed painting.
The beauty of monoprinting lies in its spontaneity and its allowance for combinations of printmaking, painting and drawing media.

Permanent collections of their works are held at the British Library, MoMA in New York, and Harvard University's Fine Art Library.
