The one-off monoprints of body parts and gestural smudges caught in deep blue ink and drawn or stitched together capture the plastic nature of the nervous system and our potential to develop new pathways in the brain. Emson attempts to bridge art and science by making a creative play of rewiring the nervous system.

London-based Camilla Emson exhibits a devotion to the malleable and love for the vulnerable through her multi-disciplinary art. A part of Emson's original artwork focuses on the body as an intelligent vessel through refined nude art. In other parts, she gracefully takes on challenges of difficult media; her series Planticity features warped ecosystems playfully situated inside handblown clear glass. Emson has exhibited at a number of international galleries, including: Art Barter Dubai (2016); The Cob Gallery, London (2015); Slyzmud Gallery, Bonpland 721, Buenos Aires (2014).
