Despite the sceneries depicted in Ji Jun's (Hangzhou, 1987) works being fictional, they are deeply connected to his personal experiences. His process involve reliving and recreating his own memories, allowing them to comprise his pictures. Ji's art prints, almost always void of human subjects, nevertheless elicit an emotional response. In effect, observers are invited into Ji's memories in order to substitute their own. His works have been shown in various galleries in his native city Hangzhou, as well as in Beijing and Shanghai. Selected exhibitions include Hunsand Space’s Drug and Art Seasons Gallery’s Small is Beautiful.
