Manuel Alejandro is a Havana-based independent artist and curator who learned to hone his sculptures at the Academy of San Alejandro. Always interested in what lies beyond traditional concepts of physicality and objecthood, Alejandro focuses on the image as an experiential aesthetic. This approach allows viewers to fully immerse themselves in his original artwork, temporarily allowing them to abandon their notions of limitations. Alejandro's work has been featured in shows at numerous galleries, including Cuban Artists Today, a group exhibition by Collectionair.
