Sergei Lotsmanov (Tartu, Estonia, 1983) is a Moscow-based artist who studied painting at the Estonian Academy of Fine Arts in Tallinn and the Institute of Contemporary Art in Moscow. Lotsmanov's drawings on paper are minimalistic renderings of extra-dimensional encounters. By encapsulating these parallel ventures into sharp pictures void of filler, the artist clearly outlines paths to mountainous philosophical objectives, leaving viewers to reach the destinations themselves. His original artwork has been featured in Moscow Museum of Modern Art, Cultural Center ZIL, Center for Creative Initiative Fabrica, and Moscow City Museum.
