Romana Londi is an Italian multimedia artist based in London. The dizzying themes that chart her original artwork are presented in order to spellbind the acute viewer. Through the paintings, drawings, installations, and performances that comprise her practice, Londi journeys through time and space in an endeavor to research visual perception - specifically, how a viewer would perceive her work. Her exhibitions include: Romana Londi: From Hand to Mouth, Kenny Schachter/ROVE; Quarter III; The Limits of Law, STATE ART, Freies Museum, Berlin.
““Painting is a sensual experience. It’s ongoing and ever evolving. I like to think of my works as showcasing the consequences of my attempted painting. Also, I like for my work to be inclusive, rather than specific: it should be open to perception and interpretation.””
Londi’s exhibitions include: Romana Londi: From Hand to Mouth, Kenny Schachter/ROVE; Quarter III; The Limits of Law, STATE ART, Freies Museum, Berlin.
Londi studied Political Science in Italy, Fine Art at Central Saint Martins, and Fine Art and Theory of Art at University of East London.
