Benjamin Swanson is a UK-based artist who initially studied fine art and sculpture before finding photography as his best medium. Swanson often revisits motifs of failure, specifically its effect on artists. Fear of failure hovers like a cloud over his pictures, though there's an encouraging underlying implication that failure - and overcoming it - is key to the success of an artist. Swanson is the recipient of the Genesis Imaging portfolio award, and has exhibited his works at such galleries as the Musée de l’Elysée, Switzerland.
