Nadege Dauvergne (Burkina Faso, 1973) is a contemporary artist who blends classical painting with street art. Her life-sized collages, made using acrylics and aerosol on paper, are strewn about common urban areas including subways, abandoned buildings, commercial doorways, and beneath advertising billboards. Inspired by the works of such classical artists as John William Waterhouse and Edward Burne-Jones, Dauvergne uses the street as her open gallery. Her works have been shown at Le Cabinet d'Amateur, Paris; Galerie de l'Universite, Paris; Galerie Voute 88, Paris.
