Theresa Volpp recently graduated from her MFA at Goldsmiths University and lives and works in Berlin. Before that, she studied at HfbK, Hamburg, in the class of Anselm Reyle. She also received her BA in design from HAW Hamburg, where she did an exchange semester at Bezalel Academy of Arts and Design in Jerusalem, Israel in 2011. This time in Israel was pivotal in directing Volpp towards painting and fine art. Recent exhibitions include No Lifeguard on Duty at Westwerk, Hamburg and the final degree show at Goldsmiths University in London, all 2016. Upcoming exhibitions are Hexagon (group exhibition) at Galerie Supplement in Göttingen (Germany) in September 2016, as well as the group show Fragmentation at Printhouse Gallery in Dalston in November, supported by the DAAD (German Academic Exchange Service), from which Volpp received a scholarship from in 2015.
