Franco Bellucci (Livorno, Italy, 1945) is a multimedia artist who authors his own universe by binding sentimental objects together to create astonishing new forms. The artist suffered a severe brain lesion when he was seven years old, and has been deprived of speech since. In absence of language, Bellucci began producing his works tirelessly. His portfolio, void of paintings, collages, or photographs, features his own original artwork: hybridizations of transitional objects that represent a carnal need to dismantle and rebuild the world. His work has been shown at “Banditi dell’arte”, Halle Saint Pierre, Paris (2013); M.A.D., Liège, (2014-15).
