Huang Jingjie (Ningbo, 1988) is a Hanghzou- and Shanghai-based visual artist whose paintings are textured by blurred shapes and shadows. The young producer's work has been extremely well-received, and he was recently featured at his first solo exhibition in MAO Space in Shanghai. The illusory clarity that serves as most first impressions of his work is its primary attraction; in fact, the shapes and subjects in his pieces are contoured by obfuscation rather than clarity. With a recent multitude of eyes on his art, Jingjie is an international name in the making. His work has been shown in a duo exhibition at Galerie Huit (2017).
