The broad practice of Markus Amm (Stuttgart, Germany, 1969) comprises photograms, collages, and small and large format oil paintings. His project Untitled engages with modernist conceptions of space and technology via photogram capturing. He shows his influence from cubism and the abstract arts, though his work is unmistakably, mechanically avant garde. Amm's work is featured in the Deutsche Bank Collection, Kunstmuseum in Stuttgart, and he has had solo exhibitions at Herald Street, London (2012); David Kordansky Gallery, Los Angeles (2011); Kunstmuseum Stuttgart, Stuttgart (2010).
