Sebastien Bieniek (Czarnowanz, Poland, 1975) is a Berlin-based artist who studied at the University of Art. Bienek joined a union of German artists at the age of 18, becoming their youngest member. Bienek incorporates photography, film, painting, and shocking performance into his practice. A classic example of his sense of daring was his three days spent laying in 500kg of minced meat. Bieniek has exhibited his original artwork at Museum Lytke, Leipzig (2015); Yoshi’s Contemporary Art Gallery, Vienna (2015).
