Lulwah Al-Homoud (Saudi Arabia, 1967) is a multimedia artist lauded for her calligraphy. Al-Homoud's series The Language of Existence shows the artist's original artwork in its best form: visual representations of the essential words of creation. The fractal grace in Al-Homoud's pictures is a product of her chosen mathematical intervals; underlying patterns and progressions are manipulated until harmony on the surface has been achieved. Her work has been exhibited at international galleries such as AB Gallery, Lucerne, Switzerland (2014); Tabari Artspace, Dubai (2013); Sundaram Tagore Galleries in Hong Kong and New York (2012, 2011).
